Walls Fall and Walls Become Tall

So the drywall is up. Must cover all of that wood.
I have started thinking of drywall in my sleep. Drywall is not sexy.

Metal corner bead, check.

I have no idea why this joint compound seems so brown. Coat 1.
Probably coat 7 for that nub of a wall we built to make
the top of the door way flush with the nub wall
and not have to attach it to the 2 inch less deep side wall.

The weird shelf in this nook is gone.
It fits the cabinet on the right perfectly.

Exterior--In the kitchen itself.

First come primer, then comes Paint!

The perfect fit cabinet. Such a perfect fit we couldn't put baseboard in that part.
And I completely forgot to take photos of the arduous floor putting in process. Very hard.

I can't declare it done yet. I have to put a piece of cove molding
above the existing cabinets.
