April get with the program

The weather forecaster keeps dangling snow in front of us. This does not make me happy. I wonder if it makes the rating happy. Scandalous headline: News media delighted by extreme weather.

In other new, Arabella is sitting up so well, she is considering leaning over and trying to move her body. She has had no interest in crawling, tummy time, rolling over in a continuous motion or locomoting. And yet, today, she tried to crawl across the boppy. She has faced dived into the carpet several times. She only got mad when she scraped her face, not as soon as she was in the prone (supine?) position.

I expect much trouble when she can move. She’ll scoff at our pitiful childproofing. And she’ll find every last one of Henry’s lost ninja army from the grocery store vending machine.

We are on the mend healthwise. But if the weather continues to offer snow and not healthy sunshine, we may get another house-bound illness. And I wouldn’t want that.
